Buddy was created based on real university students struggles.
Building the app began by gathering feedback from students on
campus. We conducted surveys that questioned the students study
habits and school background.
Contexts of use
To precisely define our target audience, contexts of use were
created. Research on students gave feedback about their most common
study spaces, tech habits, goals and motivations, and study
behaviors.

Buddy is an app designed to help students manage exam stress by
promoting healthy study routines, regular breaks, and mindfulness. It
supports students in staying focused, balanced, and stress-free during
exam preparation.
Gamification: Illustrating Game Cards and Creating Incentives
From user feedback, it was discovered that students want an app that
feels similar to a game and doesn’t represent reality. The screens are
designed with a game like interface.
